謹んで新年のお祝いを申し上げます。 皆様、健やかに新春をお迎えのことと存じます。 お茶の水自家焙煎珈琲「みじんこ」でもアーティスト企画展Vol4が始まります！！ 今回は新年にふさわしくタイトルは「寿－JAPAN－2013」！ 日本の伝統文化と現代の感性を見事に融合させた新進気鋭アーティスト渡辺友紀さんの展示会を開催いたします！ 期間：1月16日（水）～2月11日（月） 渡辺友紀さん が帯-ヘッドコスチュームアーティストとしての活動を開始したのはわずか一年前。 震災後、被災地である岩手県出身の自分に出来ることを通して何かの役に立ちたいと強く思うようになり、それがきっかけとなりアーティストを志しました。 素材として帯に行き着き、そのクオリティの高さに感銘を受け全くの独学で制作を開始。 圧倒的な感性。絢爛豪華な和の新しいイメージが拡がっていく コンセプトは 『伝統を用いて伝統に縛られず』 普段使いにするには派手過ぎる需要の少ない中古帯を 新たな和帽として姿形を生まれ変わらせ展示会を行い帯の美しさを世界中の人に知ってもらうこと。 早速、昨年夏には殺陣師の島口さん率いる『かむゐ』ヨーロッパツアーでイタリアでの撮影で使用されました。 これから世界で活躍するアーティストの展示会。 お茶の水自家焙煎珈琲みじんこで一足お先に♫皆様お見逃しなきよう♪ 販売、リースも致しますのでご興味ある方は是非♫

Her vision is to show the world the beauty and creativity of her designs in reinventing the head costume.

Yuki Watanabe started her career as a costume artist just one year ago. She was so strongly motivated to do something for the tragedic earthquake 11th Mar 2011,

As she is also from Iwate Prefecture in northern Japan, she was inspired to do something as an artist .

She began making hats on her own in a classroom.

She found inpspiration in the charm of traditional Japanese styles and its high quality materials.

She is holding exhbition at the café Mijinko at Ochyanomizu Tokyo. 16thJan～11thFeb
